What we do

First Call Heating & Cooling is locally owned and operated by Kevin Kelly, a former President of US Bancorp. Before his purchase of the company in 1994, First Call was known as McCall Heating Company and had been providing indoor comfort services to Portland metro area customers since 1939. Since the beginning, the company has earned a reputation for courteous service and customer satisfaction.

We are a full service company. We strive to exceed the expectations of our customers through friendly, efficient customer service, prompt delivery of premium heating oil, quality installation of new high efficiency heating and air conditioning products; all of which are supported and serviced by factory trained service technicians and installers. Our goal ultimately is not only to "Get Customers BUT KEEP Customers" by doing everything we can to make sure you're completey satisfied with our products and services.

We specialize in the delivery of premium heating oil, serving approximately 40 percent of Portland home heating oil customers. We offer "peace of mind" through our Automatic Fill Programs, interest-free budget payment plans, a new Heating Oil Tank Service Contract and two levels of "worry free" service agreements to enable your heating and cooling equipment to operate at optimum efficiency.

First Call offers sales, installation and maintenance of all types of heating, cooling, and air cleaning equipment, both for residential and commercial applications. These products include ThermoPride and Olsen Oil Furnaces, Trane and Rheem Gas Furnaces, Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps, Heat-N-Glo and Majestic Gas Fireplace Inserts and freestanding stoves, and many other accessories to compliment your Indoor Comfort System.

We offer residential and commercial service and maintenance on all brands of heating and air conditioning equipment. Our factory certified technicians are qualified to work on oil, electric and natural gas furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, fireplace inserts and boilers. They provide customers with emergency service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And with our Guardian Gold or Comfort Plus Service agreements our customers enjoy "ultimate comfort with true peace of mind."
